You probably think vocabulary means words, right? Well, that's what I'm putting here, but we doggies define the world with smells. Words are just your way of communicating with us, and we play along. Even though I'm still a puppy, my vocabulary of smells is already much bigger than I could list here, even if there were words you could understand for them all. We increase our vocabulary of smells every time we go on walkies or go to a new place, or meet new persons or anipals, or when you eat new foods or get new things. In fact, our vocabulary of smells increases every time the wind blows - that's why we like to sniff it! But all that won't mean much to you persons and most pets can't read, so I'm just putting here all my person words. Some of these I know every single time my person says them, and some I am still working on - having them all together in a handy spot will help remind me to keep practicing them all. iTrixie trivia Now that I've grown up a bit, I look a lot different than my baby pics on this page! Some doggies know LOTS more person words than me, but I think I'm doing pretty good. How many of these do you know? Backyard Back - walk backwards Bad dog - I HATE this one! Luckily I don't hear it very often Bed Brekkies Come - I need to work harder on this one Cookie - a treat, especially for being a good doggie and doing a word right Dance Drop it Fetch Get down - as in off of persons or things I've climbed onto when I shouldn't have Get it - like fetch, but for catching spiders or chasing away squirrels Go Go Go! - run superfast Go for a ride - in the car Go home - my person says this on walkies so I can find my way if I ever make a Great Escape Go outside - for me, this means pee or poop, either outside or in my litterbox Good girl - one of my favorites! Hi! Hush - stop barking Jump Kisses - when I give them, not you Leave it Lie down Msfubi - this is what my part-time roomie Boo KittyKat goes by now No - everyone knows this one, and nobody likes it Roll over - my person's arm flies around for this one, and looks silly Sing - I like to sing Woo-woo-wooooo Sit Speak - like sing but louder WOO-WOO-WOOOF Stay Steppie - lift my paw to put on my walkies harness, or when my feets are tangled in my leash.. some doggies call it "shake" Stretch - I don't really want to learn this one, but my person's cat would do it when told, so I guess I should be able to too Supper Take a bow - perfected! see demo Toy Trixie - that's me! Uh-oh - like no, but more for after I did something naughty (when it's discovered) Walkies - another favorite! Waters - the drinky kind What's that? - investigate something Wow, that's a lot of words for a little pup like me!
